Pressure treated lumber manufacturer Culpeper Wood Preservers acquired a treating plant in Lancaster, Mass. The location will operate under the Culpeper Wood of New England brand name.
With the acquisition, Culpeper Wood Preservers has 10 treating plants and a column manufacturing facility with its footprint and a distribution footprint covering 23 states.
“We are excited about this opportunity and strategic addition to our company. We will have access to new markets and further expand our footprint in the northeast,” Jonathan Jenkins, president of Culpeper Wood Preservers, said in a news release. “As we head into our 45th year, we will continue to build our business on the partnerships we have forged with both our vendors and customers.”
Culpeper, Va.-based Culpeper Wood Preservers operates 11 facilities in Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Massachusetts, Indiana, Virginia and sells its products exclusively through lumber dealers throughout the mid-Atlantic, northeast, mid-west, and south.
